The gym and pool in the hotel were well-kept and relaxing after a long day of meetings. There was also a supermarket nearby and a shuttle bus available on weekends to main sites.

The location was quite far from the main tourist areas and taxis required to get around. The beds and pillows, unfortunately, were too soft and uncomfortable for a good night's rest.

Buffet breakfast served in the restaurant. Efficient staff, comfortable bed in the room. Hoan kiem lake and other tourist spots where near to this hotel. Extras like flat-screen TV and beds were appreciated.

Nothing it is perfect.

We had a great stay at this hotel. The staff was professional, friendly and attentive throughout our stay. Our room was comfortable, clean and had a great view. The bathroom had all the necessary amenities and a large bathtub. Breakfast was delicious with numerous options and good coffee.

There was some strange smell in the room. However the hotel offered another room to me. I did not like to pay $18 for internet - i think that it is too high for a very slow connection.

We had an amazing stay here, enjoying all the luxurious amenities that this hotel has to offer. The swimming pool was fantastic and the spa centre was very relaxing, offering a range of massages and treatments. We loved the BBQ facilities in the garden area and the restaurant had exceptional food with in-room breakfast as an exclusive option. The staff were extremely helpful and attentive throughout our stay.

The only minor issue we experienced was the lack of private facilities, as the poolside snack bar was quite crowded during peak times.

I am travelling frequently in many countries and I try to select suitable hotels in each country. I liked Crown Plaza West Hanoi. Friendly stafs, quite location and hotel facilities were perfect choice for Hanoi. This hotel is not in the city center. But there are plenty of taxis just outside the hotel and costs not much to go to the city center.

It was a fabulous 5-night stay at Crowne Plaza West Hanoi. The rooms and facilities are new, well-maintained and clean. The buffet breakfast is excellent. A supermarket opposite the hotel allows you to buy most daily stuffs at relatively low prices. There are a few local restaurants across the road. A ~usd10 or 30 to 40-minute taxi ride will get you to the cbd, old quarters, and most of the best museums and tourist attractions in Hanoi. The excellent services and smiles of the hotel staffs left a last impression! If you do not mind staying away from the city center or if you are on business, and wish to retreat to a quiet and peaceful night sleep after the daily excitements in Hanoi, you have to consider this hotel!

The hotel is located in a calm area, ideal for those looking for a peaceful retreat, without the hustle and bustle of the city. It is also conveniently situated near an international airport. The staff was very kind and attentive, always going the extra mile to assist us during our stay. The hotel restaurant had a great choice of delicious dishes, both traditional and international.

The hotel is situated quite far from the main touristic areas of the city. It could take up to 45 minutes to reach these places, which was a bit of a downside for us. The room we stayed in lacked some details in terms of décor, but it was clean and tidy nonetheless.

My friends and I enjoyed our stay in a brand new hotel with excellent facilities and good value for money. It was easily accessible in the West Hanoi business area and offered a shuttle bus to the city centre, where we could explore Hanoi's Old Quarter. The staff were polite and attentive, and the room was well-decorated, spacious, and had a full window wall from the bathtub area.

The hotel was quite far from the city centre, which may be more suited towards business travellers rather than tourists.
